About Me

Alhaji Adamu Ahmed Abdullahi was born on June 25, 1957 at Jama’Are Local Government in Bauchi State of Nigeria. With over three (3) decades of civil service experience, Adamu Ahmed Abdullahi stands out as an accomplished Technocrat. Add a communications and media background and excellent human relations.

Alhaji Adamu Ahmed Abdullahi aviation sojourn from 2004 to date has been a very eventful and memorable one and he singularly stands out to have served in four (4)parastatals. First as General Manager (Human Resources)/Special Assistant (SA) to the Managing Director, GM (Public Affairs), GM (Servicom), in FAAN (Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria). He was moved briefly to Nigerian Airspace Management Agency (NAMA) as GM (Corporate Affairs), to the Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NIMET) as GM (Staff Welfare and Training), and then back to FAAN as GM (HR).

On the upgrading of the then Consumer Protection Department (CPD) of the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) into a Directorate in September, 2009, Abdullahi was moved from FAAN to NCAA as the pioneer Director.

At the request of his State, he was seconded to serve as Project Coordinator of the Bauchi International Airport Project for 18 months and resumed his duties as Director, Consumer Protection (DCP) in March, 2013.

He holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in Communication Arts from the New York Institute of Technology (1981), a Masters in Theatre Arts from University of Jos (1987), MSc in Transport Planning and Administration from University of Accountancy and Management Studies, (2011) and a Doctor of Business Administration from St. Linus University, Philippines (2012). He also holds an IATA (International Air Transport Association) Diploma in Airport Strategic Management.

Abdullahi has also received various awards amongst which are Centre Award in Communication Arts from Metro Centre, New York Institute of Technology - NYIT (1981) and Who is Who Among Students In American Universities and Colleges. He is a member of the Nigerian Institute of Management and Fellow Institute of Professional Financial Managers.

He is happily married and blessed with children.
