The Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) has developed skill test standards for airmen licences and ratings and these are published as Advisory Circulars (ACs). This AC establishes the standards for the Flight Dispatcher licence skill tests. Nigerian inspectors and designated flight dispatcher examiners shall conduct skill tests in compliance with these standards. Flight Dispatcher instructors and applicants should find these standards helpful in skill test preparation.

Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority is the regulatory body for aviation in Nigeria. It became autonomous with the passing into law of the Civil Aviation Act 2006 by the National Assembly and assent of the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
